Company Breakfast Bake

Today’s recipe is a great one for when you have those overnight or weekend guests.

Company Breakfast Bake is one that you can make the night before and then bake in the morning.

It’s another very easy recipe.

Company Breakfast Bake

I love the use of the word “spuds”.

Grandpa always used that word for potatoes.

Here is the recipe as I made it:

Company Breakfast Bake

Into a greased 9″ x 13″ pan, put in layers in order given:

1/2 pound of hash browns

1 pound of browned and drained sausage

1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese

Mix together and pour over all:

6 eggs

3/4 cup milk

3/4 teaspoon dry mustard

1/2 teaspoon salt and dash of pepper

Cover and refrigerate overnight.

Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

Let stand 10 minutes.

Cut into squares and serve.
